JaxCore can be installed by downloading the. exe file from Rainmeter's official website. Rainmeter can be installed by downloading the. ↥ back to top Getting Started Prerequisites It allows you to choose between two display presets and comes with serveral appearance customization options, as the name implies. KeyStrokes is a Rainmeter skin that displays your keypresses in real-time. and the really high value stuff mapped to the softkeys on Color, manly switching the UI inside color page, tracker, and versionsġ) went into Resolve's keyboard shortcuts and deleted everything i didn't use (about 98% of them), re-mapped the one's that i do use and then added the rest of the usefull shortcutsĢ) used "MacroRecoder" to make macro's based on mouse movements and/or keystrokes, for switching the UI inside color page for example, prim bars, log / prim wheels toggle, nr, curves, on and on across the UI and mapped these to the slots made empty by deleting the trash in Reslove's shortcutsģ) in XKeys used their provided MacroWorks3.Report Bugs & Request Features Table of Contents and a XKeys 60 on the other side of the color surface, and have color functions mapped to that guy, i have timeline and viewer functions mapped to the transport softkeys, jog has the same limits that the big surface and Elements show, so it's not much better, but not much worse either. ![]() shuttle and jog work, shuttle works really well IMHO. Yea the Transport is a thing of total joy. I'm going on a vacation tomorrow so I won't be adding this new feature for at least 2 weeks but after that yes. Getting into Bank 4 isn't currently mapped into any button in the controller but even that's easy since there's 6 side buttons in total and one of them can be changed to get you there. There's even one totally empty bank left for mapping in the controller which means 16 knobs unused.ĮDIT: Seeing also elsewhere how some people without a pen tablet clearly prefer using Primaries Bars I will most likely implement them into that empty Bank 4. That would be really easy for me to implement into my code since the only difference to my other functions is that it's vertical mouse movement instead of horizontal. If I understood you correctly you want to adjust Primaries Bars R/G/B channels in either Lift, Gamma or Gain one by one independently of each other. I see just a grey Permission Denied sign.Īh, since ControllerMate is Mac only I'm not sure if I can help you there. I guess the image privacy settings are blocking me from seeing your attachment. ![]() Version 1.2 has been released today and it introduces some major improvements to the performance of this mapping. What are some common resolutions you think I left out? I would love to include those too but for that I would need screenshots of your setup so I can do the mapping based on that. I did put it for sale though if someone in here would like to use it too!Īlso, even if you have a controller of your own already I would really appreciate if you could help me out on one thing. Sorry I won't be sharing the programming with you guys but you just have to believe me that it was something that I fully developed myself. How do you like my setup? Is there some settings which you think I should have absolutely included? There are things that I find still missing like next and previous node buttons and inverting a window but those are things that I hope will be added to Resolve's keyboard shortcuts lists in its next version. Especially considering if I understood correctly the mapping for Tangent and other brand controllers cannot be changed for DaVinci Resolve. But this is something that I made for myself so everything is right there where I want it. Grading with this setup just feels so much fun, like it of course does with any good controller. When the controller arrived I was so happy to see that my mapping worked flawlessly with it. So while doing a lot of research, practicing the programming using my mouse wheel and just planning how to map a controller I finally found a controller which was perfect for my needs: Midi Fighter Twister has multiple banks, a lot of knobs. Justifying to myself a 4 figure purchase in something like that when I don't own even a proper monitor yet was a bit hard though so I felt like I just have to face the fact that I will have to settle for my keyboard and Wacom tablet for a long time.īut then I saw others mapping their own MIDI controllers and the possibilities in all that and I got REALLY inspired from it. My situation is that I mostly work as a DP but I love grading and do it now and then professionally so a controller would be nice.
